Bryan and Ransom at the Phoenix Forum!
February 13, 2012
Last year I attended the Phoenix Forum and learned a lot. Some of which I put into play this last year, and some are still ongoing projects. Trying to keep a PHP programmer seems to keep slowing me down though. This year Ransom will be my “date” for the event.
Ransom spends most mornings working here helping out. My main assistant has been very sick the last month, hence not much activity on Twitter or the Blog as I have been in Emergency Mode most of January/February. Lots of trips to the hospital! He is fine, but Ransom continues to try to help out where he does most of the legwork.
Last year, Ransom really expressed an interest in learning more about the biz, so this year he is coming to see what it is all about. It is kind of an Industry event, but a few gay sites will bring their team of guys and put on some shows. I am not sure why they do, since it is mostly industry people. At times, the cynical part of me feels like they are showing-off how much money they have, but then I am kind of glad they do, ‘cuz even I like to see how other teams work from other sites.
The conference is March 29th to April 1st, so if you want to attend or live in the Phoenix area, stop on by. Send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we can try to meet up.
It will be interesting traveling with Ransom. He and I….uhhh…spend a lot of time together, so it will be cool to hang with him outside of the work environment. 😉
And if you don’t get that hint, then I guess you will have to wait till I do updates from the event!
