To Pee or Not to Pee
February 27, 2011
Recently I was taken by surprise when CCBill told me I was in violation of their Terms by posting a video with person-to-person piss play. No one was gargling in it. Just a model peeing on another persons’ leg, butt or cock.
I have been with CCBill 6-7 years now, and haven’t looked at those Terms since I signed up. I didn’t really recall watersports as being a problem.
Plus companies like SXVideo have tons of watersports, AND bill through CCBill.
They asked me to remove the video or edit out the content, which I did. It was quite a stressful day.
While pissing isn’t for everyone, it IS very popular. At any given time if you check the top DVDs or plays at sites like TLA or AEBN, there is usually one or two titles with piss action goin’ on in their Top Ten.
The Taylor & Vander RAW PISS video aired at 12:00am PST, and by the time I got up that morning at 7:00am, new sales had literally quadrupled. Sure it was a hot pairing, but the audience was clearly hungry…um… thirsty, for something a little wet. It is safe to say I lost a lot of revenue having to censor parts of that video.
I am only thankful for one thing. If it had remained up as it was, my guess is the site would have crashed under the onslaught. I was not prepared for that much interest!
I got a lot of positive emails, and read some comments on blogs, something I rarely do.
It was funny to see people say they are grossed out, and”What the Hell am I thinking?”, or it is the end of ChaosMen as they know it. ?!?!?! Pee debates broke out and one popular site, had the most comments ever on a particular video release.
I sure wouldn’t know that pissing is “gross” by the huge amount of sales that day!
A lot of members wrote to CCBill and very kindly asked them to not Censor the video or to change their policy, often pointing out sites that they were billing for piss play. Some didn’t care about the pissing, they just didn’t like Censorship. Why censor somthing that is out on the net everywhere? Pissing can be found at such illustrious sites as – Lucas Films to Raging Stallion.
CCBill of course blames their credit card processor. I believe that. I think CCBill realizes that the audience finds pee play ok..and therefore profitable. But still they are locked into their Terms with their card company.
The biggest irony is of course I can use my Visa card to join AEBN and watch piss play, got to RagingStallion.com and purchase with my credit card a hot piss video with the only Porn star that I know by name- Damien Crosse. Damn, he is such a great performer!
Even Epoch, arguably CCBill’s biggest billing competition, allows watersports.
Lots of public comment and emails saying “Lose CCBill!!” “Switch to Epoch” “Why are you staying with CCBill?”
Well, I have seven years of billing with them. If I simply turn off billing with them, I could survive a while on the rebills, but if I started airing piss videos, they would stop sending me those rebills.
I could ask everyone to quit CCBill and join via Epoch to try to get everyone shuffled over, but the Affiliates, who make money off of directing you to my site, will feel like (and justifiably so) I am doing an End Run on them, and they will no longer get credit for the new sales, nor the rebills.
I just can’t up and leave at this point in the game. My expenses are a lot higher, I pay the models plenty, and I would have to shut down production for months while everything gets switched over.
I looked at adding CCBill and Epoch jointly, making CCBill more expensive; therefore people would be more likely to join Epoch, phasing CCBill out slowly. But then members would cancel their CCBill memberships and rejoin at Epoch’s better rate, leaving the Affiliates are out of the loop again.
I want to keep affiliate happy. I don’t do any advertising, and they pretty much spread the word about the site.
I actually spoke to the Vice-President of CCBill about the issue.
He explained a lot, and did tell me he is pushing for watersports to be allowed, but to not hold my breath. (Or bladder!)
They changed card companies several years back and any site that had piss play already on it, were allowed to remain as CCBill customer nor had to change their content. So SXVideo was grandfathered in, and that is why it seems like there is a double standard.
Oh if I had only released a piss video at the beginning of the site!
So all my eggs are in one CCBill basket. But I will be adding Epoch as a second processor, because it scared the shit out of me when I realized that I only had one source of revenue. Affiliates should be mindful of this if they don’t like the idea of multiple affiliate programs.
I encourage everyone to write CCBill and tell them to change card processors or continue to get their current card processor to change its’ policy.
I did learn something about this airing this content.
If they ever do allow it, I think I will release a pee-free version of every video right alongside the pee version so the squeamish can enjoy. But by the number of sales and interest, I think the pee video will win out in a viewing landslide.
The Taylor & Vander video is available at AEBN. The price point is not the greatest. I will continue to add these as “Director’s cut” there. Perhaps try to get them all as one collection. It’s not a elegant solution, so haven’t been advertising it.
I could release a DVD with the four piss videos I have shot, but that’s a pretty short DVD. I haven’t filmed more for fear of not having a way to get the videos out on the site.
I would like to get these out to fans in HD format. I am working on a way to do this, but it might be a bit costly considering you can get the censored version on the site. But it IS super hot with the piss-action, and doesn’t have those jarring edits.
Just know, if you have even a slight pee fetish going on, I am working on ways to get the videos into your lubey hands!
